The company

Advait is a renewable energy company enabling large scale adoption of green technologies in India. The company offers a range of solutions for energy conservation and distributed power generation, and specializes in applications of renewable energy technologies in 3 different areas: energy management within buildings, solar captive power generation and rural electrification.

The company was founded in 2009 and is based in New Delhi, India.

Our mission

Advait’s mission is to take clean energy to the masses. We want to address the huge energy deficit in India via an environmental friendly approach to energy generation as well as consumption, and eventually make renewable energy a preferred option over conventional sources. We also want to use clean technology as a means to improving the quality of lives of the millions of people in the world who are yet to receive access to electricity.

Our vision

We envision a world where we, as a society, will have tapped into enough renewable sources of energy to meet everyone’s needs without having to cause any harm to the environment. No longer will we be depleting the natural resources of our planet in order to sustain and grow the world economy, no longer will 1.6 billion people in the world have to live without access to electricity or opportunities to prosper, and by no means will hundreds of millions of people have to burn kerosene everyday to provide light for their children to study.
